WHO WE ARE
Committed to Enriching Our Community
JRO Community Outreach is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. It was originally founded in 2003 as JRO Ministries-Divinity Dance Studio & Fitness Center. Dedicated to uplifting underrepresented and underserved communities through comprehensive, holistic support services, a greater capacity to serve the community became apparent. JRO Ministries changed its name to JRO Community Outreach in 2014 to serve underserved communities through a holistic, family-centered approach that empowers individuals with knowledge and tools for lasting change. We are committed to reducing, alcohol, drug & substances abuse, childhood obesity and teenage pregnancy by promoting life skills, nutrition education, and healthy decision-making. Through culturally responsive programs in financial literacy, mental health awareness, and whole-family wellness, we strive to equip individuals, families—and support seniors—with the resources they need to thrive across generations. Our services also address the unique needs of older adults, promoting aging with dignity, health education, social connection, and financial empowerment.
